International Renewed Vision Fellowship

Over the past few years we have noticed a strong desire in God's people to rise up and build His house, the one Body, and to renew their vision for the outreach of God's Word around the world.

The purpose of this fellowship was to allow others to see how God is working around the world in the Body of Christ. It was to be a time of fellowship together in the simplicity of God's Word concerning how we are to be laborers together with God. It was also to be a full sharing from all the participants on how God has been working in their lives and to share their desire to see God work in them both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

After the completion of the weekend I asked people what they had received from the fellowship. From their responses I had gathered that there was a great unity of purpose to look only to God and to be like minded in their endeavours and their labouring together with God to build His house.

"And the mulitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all." Acts 4:32 & 33

It did'nt matter what their age was they all had the same desire. They saw that God's Word shows us the simplicity of how God wants His house built and when we do it His way the work is easy.

"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labours are few;

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." Matthew 9:37 & 38

We pray to Him and He supplies the labourers who really have a desire and the meekness to build according to his plan, not their own, another's or an organization's way. They are realizing that it truly is one body, God's church and there is only one head, the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as Jesus Christ, we reconcile them back to a relationship with God. We declare our heavenly Father and His desire to have fellowship with us through His Son, so that our joy may be full. We teach them to put God first in all things and He will supply all good things for His children. We teach faithful believers to be strong in the grace of God.

"Thou therefore my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." I Timothy 1: 1 & 2

The fellowship was not only a time of renewing their vision of God's calling for their lives, but it was also a time of people re-committing themselves to heed God's call to walk in love and edify the church, God's way.
