On Saturday 24th March 2007, Danny
Torr arranged a day out for the Youth,
It was to be a great day out, the
main objective was to buy the youth T-shirts.
Firstly we went to a sports shop and
all the youth decided together what T-Shirt would be best,
the Girls went for Pink, and the Boys
White,
Then we went to the print shop, and discussed
what we wanted on the shirts, The lady in the shop was very helpful and helped us all to get a good design.
Then we passed by John Wesley's Chapel,
and decided to take the Youth in,
John Wesley was a Preacher here in Bristol
in the mid 1700's and it is Free to
take a tour around the chapel and look
up stairs in the rooms.
John Wesley composed over 9000 hymns
during his lifetime many of which are still sung today.
Later
that day we were approached by some ladies
who
were doing a survey for crisps,
We
were all invited into the building and were asked questions
on what we thought about the new improved flavours of Walker's
Quavers.
It
was good fun, and we were all given a large bag of Chocolates
for
taking part.
