Healing Testimony of Birgitte
I would like to share with all of you the healing that took place with
my daughter just recently.
Birgitte is 13 years old. During a regular dentist check up quite recently we became
aware that her upper right canine tooth was all crooked. It grew straight forward in a horizontal level in her upper jaw and
had begun to push the root of her right front tooth. The dentist took a lot of x-rays and booked her in for surgery with priority
at a dental clinic. We were of course very concerned, but Birgitte was very calm and simply requested me to heal her.
As
I ministered to her, I was inspired to hold my hands on both sides of her cheeks. Doing this, I expected that I would feel
some kind of a movement in her jaw, but I felt nothing. This kind of worried me, and during the following week we repeated
the ministering on three different occasions. Still I didn’t feel a thing in her jaw. I tried to feel with my finger
behind her upper teeth, but nothing. As a father I felt very concerned. She, on the other hand, had no concern. “God
has healed me”, was her statement, and “I can’t wait to see the surgeon’s face when he sees that God
was here first!”
The following week Brit, my wife, followed her to the surgeon. This was a complicated intervention,
and before he started the operation he wanted to take another x-ray. I wasn’t present, but my wife saw the x-ray on
his PC screen and she was amazed. Not shocked, not surprised, but amazed. Amazed of what God had done. The tooth had moved
backwards, had twisted 90 degrees and positioned itself exactly between the two teeth where it’s supposed to be positioned!
The surgeon, however, looked primarily at his papers and went ahead to perform this operation. So he opened up her
gum to fasten a device on to this particular tooth and a chain onto this device to pull the tooth downward, but it ended up
with not being too much of an operation. The chain was indeed fastened to the tooth, but already within a day or two the strain
of the chain was getting looser proving that the tooth is indeed coming down exactly in the correct manner. - As if we didn’t
know already…
This great miracle taught us quite a lot. First of all, that God’s love to us all is so awful
and that He is both willing and able to perform. Secondly, for my own part, it taught us that we do not need a physical confirmation
that the healing is taking place - like feeling something move in her jaw –, but simply to accept His promises and take
command in the situation of need.
As for Birgitte, she is overwhelmed! Her believing has skyrocketed because of this
healing and she says that she is willing to take on any situation with God on her side.
